Welcome Parents & Students!

Welcome to the art department home page for Cambria Elementary.  My name is Jessica Davis, I am the art teacher for grades K-5 in the building.  I have been with the Central Cambria School District for 11 years.  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Art Education from California University of Pennsylvania and it is my personal belief that the arts should be used to enhance our students' curriculum, in order to reach all types of learners. 

All of my lessons are based on the Pennsylvania Department of Education's State Standards for the Arts and Humanities (Standards Aligned System), and the national visual arts common core.

All of the materials we use in art class are age appropriate and non-toxic.  However, not all of them wash out of fabrics easily, so I always suggest to the students to wear an art shirt which I supply for them in my room, or they may bring in an art shirt from home if they wish.
