I am following the classroom behavior plans of my co-teachers. The students are aware that they are held to the same expectations in my classroom as they are in their homerooms. If a student makes a poor behavior choice, they will receive the same consequence from me as they would from their core teacher.

I expect my students to respect not only me but also each other. I encourage them to cooperate and work together to build an effective community of learners. I encourage my students to ask questions and share their thoughts. I believe that all students can be successful and I share the following motto with my students: "It is better to try and fail than never to try at all."
