Eric Pfeil

Director

Eric Pfeil has been the Marching Band director at Greater Johnstown High School since the fall of 2008.  He graduated from IUP in the spring of 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education.

In addition to serving as the Marching Band director at Greater Johnstown HS, Eric also teaches the 6^th grade band, 7/8^thgrade band, Middle School Marching Band, High School Concert Band, High School Jazz Band and he is the director of the Gnomon Indoor Percussion Ensemble at JHS.

During his college years, Eric instructed the Marching Band activity at Westmont Hilltop, DuBois Area and Elizabeth Forward.  He was the director of the DuBois Area Indoor Percussion program in 2004.  In the summer of 2005, Eric marched with the World Champion Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps from Allentown, Pa. 

In his spare time, Eric can be found supporting the three major sports teams in Pittsburgh.  He also is an avid online poker player and can be found gaming on Xbox Live!
