Books and More

The library is divided into several sections.  Below are the areas of the library and a short description.

Easy Fiction

The easy fiction section of the libary consists of untrue, created stories that contain pictures as well as words. These books are best suited for younger students, but have a wide range of reading levels and difficulties.

Fiction

The fiction section of the library is reserved for novels or what the students call chapter books.  These also have a wide range of reading levels and interest levels.  Students should master the easy fiction books before advancing to novels.

Easy Nonfiction

The easy nonfiction section of the library holds our true and factual books that are designed for the very, young readers.  The information is nonfiction, thus true, but in lower reading levels for the younger students.  These books come in a variety of topics and contain many large pictures and photographs.

Nonfiction

The nonfiction section of the library contains the true and factual books for the more advanced reader.  The books have more difficult vocabularies than the easy nonfiction and are typically much longer or have a greater number of words per page.  Most still include pictures and photographs, but they tend to be smaller or fewer per page.  Students should master the easy nonfiction before they attempt the nonfiction section.
