About Me:

John Shilanskas is a 2002 graduate of Easton Area High School in Easton, PA.  His music academics included Piano Lab I, Music Theory I and II, Concert Choir, and Concert Band.  He was also a member of the EAHS Camerata, Chamber Singers, Jazz Chorale, and Marching Band.

Mr. John Shilanskas is a 2006 graduate of Temple University’s Esther Boyer College of Music with a Bachelor of Music.  While at Temple, he performed in several instrumental and vocal groups including the Temple University Concert Choir, Temple University Diamond Marching Band, and Broad Street Line (a collegiate a cappella group).

Currently, Mr. Shilanskas is back at Easton Area High School as a choir director and music teacher.  At EAHS, he is director of the EAHS Freshman Choir, Jazz Chorale, and Treble Choir and co-director of the EAHS Concert Choir.  His other teaching responsibilities include Percussion Lab and Piano Lab I.
