A Thought from Mr. Connor

Through education, children develop responsibility, cognitive maturity, healthy self-esteem, and a well rounded, diverse view of the world. Music education is an essential part of this process. Music education allows the student to practice responsibility, independence, and initiative. Multiple-intelligences are encouraged to flourish through music education. Therefore, I believe it is the responsibility of the school to provide every student with the opportunity to take classes such as band, chorus, music appreciation, music theory, jazz band, music technology, group piano, music theatre, guitar, private lessons, and more.
