6th grade music is designed to give the student an overall appreciation of music, as well as an introduction to different styles of music, reading music, singing, moving, listening, and written and spoken response to music in our culture and other cultures. This class is designed for you to explore other styles of music that you don’t usually listen to; in an attempt for you to appreciate music of various styles and cultures.
