Hello parents,
My name is Bobbi Jo Powell, and I will be your child's 4th grade teacher for the 2017/2018 school year.
At any time, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. My cell number, home number and email will be listed at the bottom of the page. I am also the head boys and girls coach for the Easton High School Cross Country Team, so before school or in the evening is a great time to reach me. However, if you need to reach me during the day, please contact Forks or email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.
For homework, your child will receive homework Monday-Thursday. Homework agendas should be signed every night after homework completion. Every few weeks, I will send home your child’s folder with completed and graded work, along with a progress report. Please sign the folder and return all graded work. At the end of the marking period, I will send home all completed work that has been returned.
Attached, you will find your child’s daily schedule and special schedule each day. This schedule will remain consistent throughout the year. My students will be dismissed from special at the end of each day when I leave to coach at the high school.
Throughout the year, we would appreciate any help with supplies such as tissues, disinfecting wipes, hand sanitizer or healthy snacks. There will be a brief snack break during the day, if your child would like to bring a snack. We ask that you follow the healthy snack guideline sent home from the district.
If you have any concerns you would like me to be aware of, please feel free to send me an email, a note or call. If you would like me to keep your email on file, please feel free to send it to me at school.
If possible, please send in a photo of your child so I can display it on the Room 206 Leader in Me bulletin board in the back of our room.
