11th Grade American Literature
The focus of this class is to develop the student's understanding of the historical and cultural progress of our country through literature. Our journey begins with early American exploration and the Puritan era and will end in modern day America. Each era will showcase a variety of authors and writings that reflect it's social, ethical and cultural implications.
Also, students will also continue to improve their writing skills through a variety of meaningful writing experiences. They will explore writing through activities like journaling as well as essays, research papers and book reports.
Lastly, 11th grade students will continue to improve and refine their vocabulary and grammar skills.
