Seeing that the students at Central Mountain Middle School have a deep interest in learning how to sing has been inspiring to me as a first year teacher in the Keystone Central School District.  So much interest has been given that I developed a course to offer students the opportunity to get involved in an introductory singing class; Vocal Techniques.

Vocal Techniques is a course of study that develops the fundamentals of good singing through group voice classes.  Techniques of study include exercises that develop singing skills, repertoire in several styles and formal and informal performances.  Singing in groups and individually will be a key component to this course.
