This site is run by the Pennsylvania department of education. It provides all of the PA academic standards, tools for instruction, fair assessments, and tips for instruction. This is an excellent resource for PA educators.  

Brain Pop

This website contains educational videos, quizzes, and games on almost every subject area that is taught in school. The entire site is not free but it does have a rather large section of free material. The videos are very educational and are geared toward children. This is a great site for visual aids to go along with your instruction. 
 

 Association of American Educators

This is the largest nonunion teacher association. It provides professional resources, publications scholarships and grants. Becoming a member of this organization can help boost your professional career by providing you with excellent and current information in the educational community.
