In order to guarantee all the children in my classroom the excellent learning climate they deserve at all times, the following Discipline Plan is in place.

If a child chooses not to follow the rules:

1^st consequence: loss of 1^st chip = 5 minutes loss of recess and a notification slip sent home

2^nd consequence: loss of 2^nd chip = 10 minutes loss of recess and a notification slip sent home 

3^rd consequence: loss of 3^rd chip = 15 minutes loss of recess and a notification slip sent home  

4^th consequence: loss of 4^th chip = loss of recess and a notification slip sent home 

Severe/continual disruption will result in a discipline referral to Mrs. Nauman

Class consequences may result in time off recess as well

 

***Notification slips need to be signed by a parent/guardian and returned the next day

 

Children who chose to follow the rules and retain their four daily chips will earn a daily stamp on their chart.  These accumulated stamps will allow those students to earn special rewards!  

Class rewards are also earned through the classroom Marble Jar!
