Science Lab Safety Guidelines

In order to provide each student with a safe and fun environment while doing science labs, the following guidelines must be followed:

 No throwing of ANYTHING

 No running in the classroom at any time

 Some experiments will require us to use goggles.  You must put the goggles on correctly when told to and keep them in place around your eyes until    the end of the lab.

 No eating of ANYTHING (unless instructed to by the teacher)

 Please report any unsafe activities that you observe

 If you spill or break anything, report it to your teacher immediately. Remember accidents do happen.

 Listen to and follow all directions.

 Do not touch lab equipment that does not pertain to the day’s activities.

 Respect each other.

 Follow your Lab Job Assignment.  Let everyone else take care of his/her own.

 When in doubt, ASK!!!!!

 

I have read and understand the science lab safety guidelines and I agree to follow them. I understand that if at any time I do not follow the above guidelines, I will lose lab privileges.
