Come up with 5 things you learned in math this year. Then come up with 3 good suggestions for next years 8th graders.

Then use the postcard creator at http://www.readwritethink.org/files/resources/interactives/postcard/ to write a note to the incoming 8^th graders that include your 3 suggestions as well as 5 topics we learned throughout the year. Remind them of what they absolutely need to know for 8^th grade math and Miss Heppler’s classroom.

Follow all the prompts.

When you finish, print out your postcard. Decorate the front with a scene from a math classroom or a math related theme. Color appropriately. 

Hand in for a grade.
