*Weekly envelopes and Test Folders come home on Wednesdays and must be returned the next day.  Thank you for your cooperation!

*Gym Thursday.  Wear gym uniform.

*Library is on Thursday, please remember to bring your books in each week.

*In 4th grade, the homework expectation is one hour each night.  I generally give Math, English and Spelling homework each night to practice the skills we are learning in class.  If your child is experiencing any difficulties with homework, please do not hesitate to contact me.  Good study skills are vital.

*When your child goes on First In Math, please direct him or her to the Just The Facts and Practice Gym sections of the game to work on multiplication and division facts.

*We are studying the regions of the United States in Social Studies.  See my Helpful Websites for games to learn the states, capitals and abbreviations.

https://orders.scholastic.com/MGFX8  This is our classroom link to the Scholastic Book Club.  You may order books for your child and earn points for our classroom so we can get more books for our classroom library.  Please make any checks you send in payable to Scholastic Reading Club.

*As a class, we are working on being respectful, showing effort, being cooperative, displaying a good attitude, and being honest.  Students start on Ready to Learn each day.  For misbehavior, students move their name stick to Yellow (Think About It).  If misbehavior continues, sticks move to Blue (Reflection).  Students fill out a reflection form to be sent home and signed and lose some recess.  The next level is Red (Parent Contact) and detention.

Whole class and individual positive behavior is recognized daily.
