Lesson Objective:

• TSWBAT recognize pop art as well as Andy Warhol
• TSW practice using measuring skills to break up paper into even square

Procedure:

• TTW introduce Pop Art
• Emerged in 1950s
• Used in advertising, mass produced imagery
• Roy Lichtenstein, Andy Warhol
• TTW demonstrate measuring papers into squares
• TTW demonstrate and introduce pointillism
• TSW measure paper, choose image
• TSW create 3 images and select their favorite
• TSW draw image, cut it out and trace it three times, then colo

• 12x18” sulphite paper
