  • Stay home when you are sick.
  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
  • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe.

Health Note – Please remember to keep your child home when they are sick.

Our district Procedure is for Children to stay home at least 24 hours after their last vomit and are fever free without medication for 24 hours.  This will help keep us all healthy this year.

When children come to school sick or having a fever they spread the sickness around the room.  We can track the sickness sometimes.  One student at a table might get sick than before you know it another student gets it and so on.  It does really work like that.  I've seen it happen in that pattern.  It is not fair to spread germs to other children in the classroom.  We ask that students not be in school if they were sick “yesterday”.  I know it might mean another day at home, but we are trying to keep everyone healthy, especially when it comes to the stomach bug.  Plus, your child will feel better when they return to school with that extra day to rest.  Please HELP with this. Thanks!
