Finishing the Tour

 

We are going to be doing a lot of practicing today, and you are going to need some materials that I have prepared for you, my students.  Listed below are two files that I have added to this site from my own Portfolio. 

What is nice about this is that you can do the same for your students - anything that you add to your Portfolio can be added to your Website - which means that the "magic paper-eating backpack" is a thing of the past.  Students can't lose their papers - they are all available online!

To save these files, you will need to right-click on them

(Mac users: hold down the Control key when clicking with your mouse)

 To save the picture:
  • Right-click your mouse on the picture
  • Select Save Image As from the menu that appears
  • Save the image to your My Pictures folder with the file name Practice Picture.gif

To save the file:
  • Right-click your mouse on the link
  • Select Save Target As or Save Link As from the menu that appears 
  • Save the file to your My Documents folder with the file name SAS Inserting ePortfolio Items on a Webpage.pdf

 Just like our students, we all work at a different pace! If you finish early, please use this as an opportunity to check out the Materials & Resources section of the portal… save some more resources that will benefit your students.  I’ll call you all back together as a group when everyone has finished.
