Technology will be an integral part of your child’s learning experience in science class this year. All students will have access to technology and the internet in school so it is important that students understand the responsibility that comes with using the internet at school and at home. In order for students to have a safe and successful experience using technology in my class room students must use technology for educational purposes only, must not access or create any inappropriate material, must ask for permission to use the technology, and must not intentionally damage any technology equipment. 

Students will also use the internet for a variety of projects and assignments in this class. There is an abundance of quality information on the internet, and I will help students learn to find and use this quality information. There are also many resources you can use at home to help students use technology and the internet responsibly and productively.
