This course is designed to provide students with the opportunity to take an introductory chemistry course that may be transferred into 4 college credits if the individual student registers and pays for the course through Saint Francis University. The course thoroughly examines topics theoretically with a mathematical emphasis. Labs are conducted in appropriate topics.
Attendance plays a major role in a student's success in this course. It is very important that students are present to hear explanations and participate in labs and activities. Sometimes, an absence just can not be prevented/avoided. Therefore, class notes have been uploaded for students to utilized outside of class. The "Practice Problems" in the book at the end of every chapter are the problems used for homework and are completed as the students progress throughout each chapter. However, labs and activities can only be completed inside of the classroom.
