Today your objective is to use your knowledge of the latest chapter and complete three sections of a bookfold. To do this go into Microsoft Word. Select File, Print, then Page Setup is Underline in blue at the bottom of the page. Click on it. Then look at the middle section that says "Multiple Pages, select the drop down box and choose Bookfold.

Type in the first page: Chapter 3 Review Booklet

• Define the following and show two examples of each and a non example of each.

  Whole number

  Real number

  Not real number

Second page:

• Title it Squares
• Find the definition for square number.
• Show the symbol for square.
• Define perfect square and find the first ten perfect squares.
• Find the pattern for the first ten squares and describe it in two sentences.

Third page:

• Title it Squares Roots
• Find the definition for square root.
• Show the symbol for square root.
• Explain how to find a square root to the tenths place. Write Directions.
• Do the first ten square roots

•  What's the Pythagorean theorem state in words?
• Show the formula
• Find a picture that identifies the hypotenuse and legs Define hypotenuse and legs Explain how to find the hypotenuse if you know the legs (what are the steps)
• Explain how to find the legs if you know the hypotenuse and one leg (what are the steps)
