Grammar Skills/  Capitals, and Periods , Prefix un-re

 Vocabulary Strategies/Shades Of Meaning

 High Frequency Words/ before, example, form, morning, order, store, story, those, word, work

Spelling Words : r-controlled Vowels or, ore 

Target Vocabulary Words: 

approached, communicated, deal, display, figured, hiring,motioned, otherwise, pledge, potential, retire, selfless, series, smudge 

Wednesday/   Sentence Day

Students will practice writing sentences.

 

Thursday /Spelling  Pre test Day

 

Friday/ Final Test Day

Throughout the two weeks the students will be working on their presidents presentations. 

 

   Please search any additional stories on YouTube, Scholastic Learn at Home, or Storyline Online.

 Social Studies/ Important People

Handwriting/Continue Cursive Practice

 

Writers Workshop/    Keep a journal of thoughts, stories, poems, songs, or whatever you want to write about.  Just make sure you are writing!  :)  

 

 Always  check student reading folder.

Read each night from student assigned reading book.

Practice spelling words each night . (Say it, Spell it, Say it, Write it)
