 Vocabulary Strategies/Context Clues

 High Frequency Words/ everyone, everything, himself, maybe, nothing, ourside, some, someone, sometimes, withour 

Spelling Words :Vowel Patterns o ( al) /Compound Words

Target Vocabulary Words: 

adjusting, coast, crouches, flock, generations, harsh, mingles, pierced, prances, preserving, role, route, trills, wobbly  

Wednesday/   Sentence Day

Students will practice writing sentences.

 

Thursday /Spelling  Pre test Day

 

Friday/ Final Test Day

Throughout the two weeks the students will be working on their books

Handwriting/Continue Cursive Practice

 

Writers Workshop/    Keep a journal of thoughts, stories, poems, songs, or whatever you want to write about.  Just make sure you are writing!  :)  

 

 Always  check student reading folder.

Read each night from student assigned reading book.

Practice spelling words each night . (Say it, Spell it, Say it, Write it)
