Parents and Students, use the links below to help prepare for the end of the year Algebra 1 Keystone Exam Assessment.  I recommend you visit the practice problems and tests on a regular basis thourghout this school year.   We will use this site for classwork, homework, and enrichment point activities.

The Keystone Exams are end-of-course assessments designed to assess proficiency in various subjects. The following Keystone Exams will be tested: Algebra I, Literature and Biology.  In future years, pending funding, additional Keystone Exams will be administered.

The Keystone Exams are one component of Pennsylvania’s proposed system of high school graduation requirements. Keystone Exams will help school districts guide students toward meeting state standards.

 What do Algebra 1 Keystone's Look like?

Exam at a Glance:

  • Test is made up of 2 modules. Module One covers Operations , Linear Equations and Inequalities. Module Two covers Linear Functions, Data Organization.
  • Module One: 23 multiple choice, 4 constructed response.
  • Module Two: 23 multiple choice, 4 constructed response.
  • Total: 46 Multiple choice Questions, 8 Constructed Response
  • Estimated to take 150 minutes to complete both modules. It is not timed. 
  • Constructed Response will be scored on a 0 - 4 scale using this rubric.
  • Here is the formula sheet you will have access to on the test.
  • Calculators are allowed if they meet these calculator guidelines.
