CLASS RULES

Be Prompt – Arrive to class on time and be in your seat and ready to work when the late bell rings with all electronic devices turned OFF and inside of your bag.  They are not to be out unless I give your permission.
Be Prepared – Bring all necessary items to class.  This includes a writing utensil, binder, extra paper, and your completed work.
Be Polite – Respect everyone in the classroom.  Treat them and their belongings the way you would like to be treated. 
Be Positive – Enter and leave the classroom every day as positive as possible!
Be Responsible – Check the class website and powerschool daily.  It is your responsibility to make up missing notes, homework, and assessments.
Be Honest – Don’t lie! Honesty is the best policy!

EXPECTATIONS

Bell Ringers are to be completed daily and recorded in your notebook.

Journals are to be completed every Friday and kept in your class pile.

Homework, graded or not, collected or not, is expected to be completed to the best of your ability.  It serves as practice, review, or a check for understanding for the skills we learn in class.

Dismissal is done by the teacher.  You will remain in your seats until dismissed.  Do not line up by the door if class ends a little early!

PROCEDURES

Entering Class - When you enter class, get your calculator right away, get in your assigned seat, and record & begin the bell ringer immediately.  This is an independent exercise for every student.  It will be gone over shortly after the late bell rings.

Homework - If there was homework the night before, make sure this is readily available to be checked, collected or gone over.

Binder/Notebook/Folder - Take all notes given in your notebook/binder.  Keep all papers organized in your binder or in a folder.

Journals - Write the journal topic and your response after.  Do not just write your response.

End of Class -  If time is given to begin your homework, you are expected to complete the work until the bell rings.
