I created a screencast of myself reading a book and explaining to my students a project that we will be doing in school the next day. I did this becuase the book goes along with a subtraction activity that I would do with my students. Instead of taking up class time reading the story, the students will listen to the story at home. They would also have directions that were explained in the video of what they should bring to school the next day. This will help them remember what the assignment was since they will have it on their computer to listen to. It will also help involve the parents since they can help them with their at home assignment.
