I bookmarked 20 web sites at my Diigo account that I would like you to take a look at as a future resource.

Visit each web site and write the name of the web site and a ONE sentence description of what it does. Indicate if you have been to the site before.

ERIC: This site has a huge library of education resources and literature, my high school had a subscription to this site and I have used it before.

EduHound.com: This site offers educational technology resources, and helps you to better understand the topic, and how to use it. I have not used this site before.

NASAforEducators: NASA for educators gives science resources for teachers to use by grade level or topic, I have not used this site before.

Tagxedo.com: Allows you to put words and phrases into a picture or shape, I have used this site before and it can be a great resource.

Voki.com: This lets you create an avatar that will speak to your students, I haven't seen this site before.

Teachertube: Offers a safe environment for teachers and students to watch videos, I have seen this site before. 

Screenr: This is a screencasting site that will let you record your computer screen, and voice with just a click of the button, I have not seen this before. 

Savetube: Allows you to save and download videos from the internet onto your computer, I have never used this site before.

Rubistar: This site lets you create rubrics to use for grading, I have seen this site before and think it can be a great resource.

DiscoveryEducation/Puzzlemaker: This awesome tool lets you create many types of puzzles that you can use for your students, I have never used this before. 

PowerPointGames: This site would be great for test review because it gives resources on games to use in powerpoint, I have never used this.

3Dtextmaker: This tool helps you create text banners that you can use for different projects, I haven't used this before.

Bubbl.us: This great tool helps you make brainstorming webs, I have used this and it is a great tool to use.

Glogster: This is good to use instead of powerpoint because it is more interactive, I have used it many times. 

LessonPlanZ: Lets you search a database for lesson plans for every grade and many topics, I have not seen this before.

Teachnology: This site lets you create a free website that you can use in the classroom, I have seen it but have not used it.

IdeastoInspire: Gives you multiple lesson and presentation ideas, I have never seen this site before.

DiscoveryEducation/freeteacherresources: This site gives resources for different grades and subjects, I have seen this website before.

Pinterest: This site has thousands of teacher resources, ideas, and tools that anyone can use, I have used this site many times.

LiveBinders: Using this site, you can organize different websites and other resources all in one place, I have seen this site but I havent used it.
