Book Club Project:

Step 1: Use the planning sheets to complete a draft of your book cover. This includes any pictures and text that you will be including. Remember to have the book title and author in the best places.

Step 2: Go to http://www.readwritethink.org/files/resources/interactives/bookcover/

Step 3: Choose "Full Dust Jacket", then choose "black ink."

Step 4: Work through each part of your cover. Be aware-- you cannot save your work. You must print to save it. Plan your time carefully so that you don't have to leave in the middle of a portion of your project!

Step 5: When you are satisfied with your cover, hand it in.

This project is worth 100 points. This includes points for having the title, author, a write-up that intrigues the reader, author information, and for being creative.
