We love to read in 4th! 

There is a 25 Book Challenge in Fourth Grade.  

Students must read 25 books of different genres throughout the year to complete the challenge.  Examples of genres are:

Realistic Fiction

Biographies

Historical Fiction

Science Fiction

Fantasy

Mystery

Informational Text

To complete the Challenge, students read, read, read...and complete a Reading Record Sheet after they finish a book to tell me what they enjoyed about the book, what connections they can make, what they learned, and if they would recommend the book to others.

In Fourth Grade, we read books aloud to promote fluency, comprehension and interest in reading other similar books.
