Clarion University

Students with a cumulative 3.25 GPA and a 1050 SAT (critical reading and math scores) or 23 ACT are guaranteed a $1,000 Clarion Academic Scholarship renewable up to four years (five years for some dual-certification education programs) as long as: (a) the student maintains a 3.0 GPA at Clarion University of Pa, (b) the student continues progress toward the degree on a full-time basis (minimum accrual of 24 credits per academic year), and (c) the student’s family annually completes the FAFSA. Additional renewable scholarships are available for students enrolled in specific majors or in a dual certification education program. Clarion University may award additional scholarships to students based upon academic criteria (awards can range up to $28,000). Marist College

There is a special opportunity for students who choose to major in Computer Science or Information Technology and Systems. Students may receive full four-year tuition, room and board scholarships. In addition, students will receive the following benefits: (1) opportunity to participate in high-level internships and applied research with Fortune 100 companies such as Goldman Sachs, IBM, and Morgan Stanley; (2) special advising from the dean and key faculty in the School of Computer Science and Mathematics; (3) leaders from IBM, Cisco, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, EMC, and other companies will mentor the scholarship students. Criteria includes (a) strength of curriculum and academic performance throughout high school, (b) interview with the dean and/or faculty from the School of Computer Science and Mathematics, (c) declaration of Computer Science or Information Technology and Systems as program of study, and (d) full-time enrollment at Marist starting Fall 2015. Mount Aloysius College

Mercy Presidential Scholarship – 30 Competitive Scholarships are available with $48,000 dispersed over a four-year period. The Mercy Presidential Scholarship is designed to enhance & bring student leadership to the college. Candidates must demonstrate a solid academic record, commitment to home, school, and community. Candidates must also possess leadership abilities, participate in extra-curricular activities, volunteer, and be involved in community service projects. Muhlenberg College

$40,000 Henry Melchior Muhlenberg Scholarship – Named after the College’s namesake, the patriarch of the Lutheran Church in the American Colonies, the Henry Melchior Muhlenberg Scholarship is the largest scholarship offered by Muhlenberg. Total value over four years, $160,000. Awarded on the basis of superb academic performance, extracurricular commitments, and positive character and citizenship. Five of these new scholarships will be awarded for the class entering in Fall 2015. 

$18,000-$10,000 Presidential Merit Scholarships – Renewable for all four years. Awarded on the basis of outstanding academic performance, extracurricular commitments, and positive character and citizenship.

$9,000-$1,000 Commitment to Excellence Scholarships – Renewable for all four years. Awarded on the basis of strong academic performance, extracurricular commitments (emphasis on leadership and service), and positive character and citizenship.

$4,000-$1,000 Talent Awards in the Performing and Visual Arts – Renewable for all four years based on participation on campus (do not need to major in an arts field). Awarded on the basis of audition or portfolio review in Art, Dance, Film Studies, Music, and Theater (performance, technical theater, etc.) 

$4,000 Honors Program Stipends – Renewable for all four years based on selection for and participation in one of Muhlenberg’s three Honors Programs (Dana Scholar, Muhlenberg Scholar, RJ Fellows). Selection based upon review of completed applications for first-year admission (additional supplemental application for the Dana Scholar Program). 

Shippensburg

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit and/or financial need and help students meet their educational expenses. When you apply for admission to Shippensburg University, you will automatically be considered for a scholarship if you meet the specified criteria. When financial need is one of the requirements, you must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov to verify your eligibility. Triangle Tech

Triangle Tech awards one scholarship for each of its Associate in Specialized Technology and Associate in Specialized Business degree programs annually. Candidates should demonstrate outstanding achievement, talent, or leadership qualities. Financial need is not a consideration in determining these awards. This is an excellent opportunity to reduce the cost of earning a Special Associate Degree in one of the following programs: (1) Refrigeration, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Technology; (2) Architectural Computer-Aided Drafting and Design Technology; (3) Mechanical Computer-Aided Drafting and Design Technology; (4) Maintenance Electricity and Construction Technology; (5) Carpentry and Construction Technology; (6) Welding and Fabrication Technology. University of Pittsburgh

The Nordenberg Scholarship - Each year, a talented cohort of 10 graduating high school seniors, from Pennsylvania, will be selected to participate in the distinguished four-year program in support of the University of Pittsburgh's commitment to keeping the talented youths of our region in the Pittsburgh area after graduation. Provided these 10 selected Nordenberg Leadership Scholars successfully complete the requirements of the program each year, they will each receive a full-tuition scholarship for eight terms; one international experience; and paid internships in the summers after their freshman, sophomore, and junior years. Criteria: Students graduating from high schools in Pennsylvania are eligible to apply for the Nordenberg Leadership Scholars Program. Prospective candidates for the program must apply and be admitted to the University of Pittsburgh and also must complete the Nordenberg Leadership Scholars application process. Prospective candidates must meet the rigorous admission requirements of the University.
