APUSH students meet with me in May of the year prior to taking the cousre.  At this meeting the student receives his/her summer skills work packet.  The packet provides information on major types of materials that the student must be able to analyze, assess, interpret, and apply during the course. The student is required to fully complete the packet and to turn it in on the first day of class.  The packet is worth 200 points on the first 9 week grading period.
