10/13/16 - Talked about the various ways that the states limited the rise of power in their governments - limited the governor's power, multiple branches of government, a bill of rights
10/14/16 - Looked at the strengths of the Articles in the power it gave to the Confederation Congress
10/17/16 - Looked at the weaknesses that the national government had under the Articles of Confederation
10/18/16 - Looked at the differences between the Land Ordinance of 1785 and the Northwest Ordinance (1787) both strengths of the Confederation Congress
10/19/16 - Looked at the international problems (Spain & England) and the domestic problems (Shays Rebellion) that occurred because of the lack of power at the national level.
10/20/16 - We graded WS #14 CH 8 Sec 1 Packet Periods 3 & 4 role played while Periods 5 & 6 played a review game.

11/8/16 - We presented the posters in class and examined the issues. A spirited discussion ensued.
11/9/16 - Notebook organization and notebook check. Those that were absent were exempt from the grade. We then discussed the election results.
11/10/16 - Collected papers from the 1st marking period; we watched a film clip as an intro to the Ratification argument; we went over the homework so if you were absent, have it marked off.
11/11/16 - We talked about Veterans Day and did a little review on the CH 8 Sec 3 Vocabulary
11/14/16 - New seats were assigned; a short quiz was given; we completed the Venn Diagram on the back of WS #4 comparing the Federalists to the Anti-Federalists
