Incredible Victory For Avon Grove High School Marching Band

With a score of 94.45, the Avon Grove High School Marching Band made history by finishing in second place in the Tournament of Bands (TOB) Atlantic Coast Championship at Hershey Park Stadium on October 28th, 2012. This is the highest the Avon Grove Band has ever finished – up from 12th place just three years ago. This is significant because the event is more than a State Championship. This event is comprised of top bands from nine different states.

This victory follows an unprecedented successful season for the Avon Grove High School Marching Band. The band finished in first or second place at every competitive event since September 22nd and won numerous “best of” awards, such as Best Colorguard multiple times. At the New Holland Fair Parade, the AG band captured first place in their division and won every award offered in the parade competition.
