U.S. History (1850 - Present)

The United States is the history of a great experiment in representative democracy. The basic principles and core values expressed in the Declaration of Independence became the guiding ideas for our nation's civic culture. United States history since the Declaration of Independence has witnessed continued efforts to apply these principles and values of all people. Adoption of the United States Constitution codified these principles, but, as the history of our nation shows, that document and its amendments represented only the first step in achieving "liberty and justice for all."

Within your website, you can create as many additional pages as you desire.  You also have the ability to create sub-pages - pages that are offshoots of the main pages in your navigation menu.  For example, this page U.S. History is a main page.  When I click on it in the navigation menu, I see pages listed that are connected to it.  Period One and Assignment 1 are both considered sub-pages.
