Marriage will again be the topic of the eleventh unit of this course, but this time we will be discussing the topic after tying the knot.  During this chapter, we will review and compare compromise and other ways to deal with marital conflict, as well as effective ways to develop successful relationships with in-laws.

 

By the end of this one-and a-half week chapter, you should be able to answer the following essential questions completely and confidently.

 

What things are necessary to build a strong, successful marriage?

What are the components of a successful marriage?

What techniques can be used to handle disagreements in marriage?

Why is it important to make adjustments in a marriage?

What are the characteristics of a happy marriage?

How can children make a difference in a happy marriage?

What is meant by the normalcy of conflict?
