Test Taking & Study Skills

During the fifth unit of this course, we will be discussing and practicing various test taking and study skills.  In reality, most students do not study for quizzes, tests, and other exams.  The more unfortunate part is that many do not know how to study for these assessments.  The goal of this unit is to provide you with easy, effective, and efficient ways to study.  Some of these strategies will not even seem like studying.

 

By the end of this ten day unit, you should be able to answer the following essential questions completely and confidently.

 

What things can help make you a successful learner in school and life?

Why are proper study skills so important?

What does it mean to have proper study skills?

How do I study?

What things can you do to make studying easy?

What strategies are necessary to take effective notes?

What strategies can be used to be successful on all types of quizzes and tests?
