In second grade students build upon the computer skills learned through Kindergarten and First Grade.  Students will learn more skills for when they are working online, such as typing web addresses correctly, Internet searching, and bookmarking a website.  We will also explore more tips to stay safe online and introduce homerow on the keyboard.

Second graders will continue to work on Microsoft Word and learn how to do even more tasks, such as using cut, copy, paste, and undo.  They will understand how to check a document using the spelling and grammar button and work with graphics.  This year the students will be introduced to PowerPoint and create a simple presentation.
