SCIENCE 8 - Welcome Parents and Students!

7th Grade students will have a test on Chapter 3, Sections 1-6, during the week of April 8, 2019.  Packets will be due for this section as well.

Please check your student's grade!  :)

****ATTENTION PARENTS PLEASE CHECK YOUR STUDENT'S WORK THAT THEY ARE HANDING IN!!! Everything must be written in complete sentences unless they have special permission!!!!!   Students are losing points on their packets due to incomplete work and incomplete sentences!!!  They have been warned numerous times!!!!

Student responsibility is to complete all work from class that they were unable to complete in our classroom time frame.  

*Please remember that PACKETS are graded as is and are not available to be completed at a later time, as this is considered to be classwork and NOT homework.  Students are provided with additional time in class  to finish all vocabulary.  

 **It is so important to know the LANGUAGE of SCIENCE, so that they can understand what we are studying.

 Students should be able to demonstrate understanding of all vocabulary and concepts related to utilizing the terms and concepts when completing each investigation.

Question: WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP MY STUDENT BE SUCCESSFUL?

Answer: PARENTS PLEASE ASK TO SEE YOUR STUDENT'S VOCABULARY WORDS EVERY WEEK!  Please be sure that they are writing a definition, and drawing a picture that reminds them of each vocabulary term.

 **All handouts must be completed and written using complete sentences.  Otherwise, failure to do so.... will result in a zero (0) when you hand them in to your instructor with your classroom packet.
