 Volunteer at Salvation Army!

"Our agency schedules training in block sessions (4 Saturdays in a row) three times a year, we are just finishing up our first section.  The trainings are generally on Saturdays from 9-1 at a church in Allentown.  We also offer some special topic trainings a few times a year which are during the week  in the evening and are also planning a new program for our foster and adoptive parents beginning in January which will be on tuesday evenings once a month at a church in Coopersburg.  We need child care help for the children ranging in age from infant to young teen.  Child care helpers would play games, arts and craft activities, read to the children depending on the age.  We generally need 2-4 child care helpers per session.  The students can help as needed and don't have to commit to every training but it is great when we get regular helpers."
