Extra Credit Information – Mr. Mogilski

Spanish/German

1.  For each vocabulary quiz, if you hand in note cards which consists of those words on the quiz, you will receive 1 point of extra credit.

2.  For each vocabulary quiz, if you write each word three times each you will receive ½ point of extra credit.

 3.  If you turn in newspaper articles or word search puzzles pertaining to the course that you are in, you will receive 1 point of extra credit per article or puzzle.  Maximum of 3 per marking period.

 4.  The most common type of extra credit is a project.  It counts as an additional test score.  There are 2 types of projects.  One is a report, and the other is a poster.  A report will be at least 3 pages long, handwritten, written in black/blue ink, and must deal with a topic that is either Spanish or German in nature.  It must have a title page and bibliography.  The title page will give the title of the topic, the name of the student, the date and class he/she is in.  In the bibliography, I want the standard things that a bibliography needs, which includes the author, name of the source, pages used, publisher and copyright date.  See Mr. Mogilski before you create an extra credit poster!  You are permitted to have two extra credit projects per marking period, but only one can be a poster.

If you have any questions, see Mr. Mogilski before you do anything!
