Life in general:

I am happily married to my high school sweetheart Josh, we live in Nazareth and we have 2 wonderful kids.  Madey is 5 and just started Kindergarten and Jackson is 3 and just started preschool.  It's definitely a big year in the Ricker house!  We also have 2 crazy and bark-happy pups named Porkchop and Applesauce.  

 

Higher Education:

Graduated from Nazareth Area High School in 1998

Attended Kutztown University and earned my BS in Elementary Ed/Early Childhood Ed in 2002

I am currently working on my Master's in Early Childhood Education through Wilkes University, but I have many graduate level reading courses under my belt since it took me a LONG time to finally decide on what kind of master's degree I wanted!

Birthday: May 13, 1980  *Little known fact- I share my birthday with my son Jackson (5-13-08)! 

Favorite color: Green

Hobby: You guessed it, READING!!  I especially love reading to my kids  

Favorite book(s): too many to list, but here are a few- Harry Potter series, Percy Jackson series, Twilight series, The Outside Boy, Little Women and The Keeping Days 

Favorite food(s): Captain Crunch, pizza, mint chocolate chip OR peanut butter swirl ice cream, strawberries, chocolate chip cookies, french onion soup...I could go on and on!  

Favorite outdoor activity: hiking or going for walks
