It is important that children attend school every day.  If a child has a fever or is vomiting, of course, keep him/her home.   If a child is able to attend, please send him/her.   Our days are very busy.  Our learning is hands on, not the kind of thing that can be sent home.  It is very difficult for a child to catch up on what was missed.  

Remember to dress your child for the weather.  As long as the sky is clear, the children will still be going out for recess.  If it is warm, the children should wear short sleeves and shorts or skorts.  If it is cold, then warm coats, hats and gloves will be necessary.
