Medical Assistance for Workers with Disabilities (MAWD)

For individuals who are working and do not qualify for Medical Assistance (Access), they may still be able to obtain health insurance.  MAWD provides an option to individuals who work and have a documented disability (physical, mental health, mental retardation/intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities), to obtain health insurance at a reduced rate.

No family makes too much money for CHIP because there is no income limit."
