Listed below are links to various services and resources (public and private) for individuals with disabilities and their families as they prepare for living independently. 

Resources throughout the state of PA

Lifesharing, also known as Family Living, supports individuals with intellectual disabilities to live with qualified unrelated adults who provide support in their home.

  • The Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) uses the The Supports Intensity Scale™ to assess the individual needs of persons with disabilities when determining the services to be provided. Attendant Care, some individuals need help with activities of daily living; bathing, dressing, meal preparation, etc.

  • The Office of Long-Term Living oversees attendance care services. Specific information on different services available for individuals and families of individuals who may benefit from attendant care can be found HERE.
