September guidance lessons introduce the counseling program and our anti-bullying program.

October guidance lessons address building community in K - 2 classrooms and cyber bullying in 3 - 5 classrooms.

November guidance lessons begin the special topic addressed in each grade.  This topic is covered in depth through the next 3 to 4 months of the school year.

        Kindergarten: Social skills

        First grade: Friendship and diversity

        Second grade: Anger management/self management skills

        Third grade: Conflict resolution

        Fourth grade: Peer pressure/empathy

        Fifth grade: Respect/different perspectives

 December through March continue developmental lessons on each grade's topic.

April and May focus on Career Awareness.
