Seminar Spelling is an accelerated vocabulary program. Each Thursday every Gifted Support student receives a Seminar Spelling packet. The ten words in the packet are vocabulary words at least two grade levels ahead.

The students study the words, complete the activity packet for homework, and return it. A spelling test and a vocabulary test are taken. Then a new packet is distributed and the process starts over again.

Students' grades are determined by an average of the three components of Seminar Spelling - spelling, vocabulary, and homework.
