Sketchbook assignments are given at the beginning of each week and are due at the end of that week.

  • Week 1- Line - Practice Strip of Various lines on scratch art paper/ Scratch Art Design
  • Week 2- Shape - Positive/ Negative Shape Collage
  • Week 3- Form - Create your own Still Life
  • Week 4- Space - Overlapping Objects
  • Week 5- Texture - Create a textured Collage
  • Week 6- Value - Value Scale with paint/ Monochromatic Abstract Name Design
  • Week 7- Color - Create your own color wheel
  • Week 8- Movement
  • Week 9- Unity
  • Week 10- Variety
  • Week 11- Balance
  • Week 12- Contrast
  • Week 13- Proportion
  • Week 14- Rhythm
  • Week 15- Final Art Project - Research and create a PowerPoint presentation that includes all the necessary information
  • Week 16- Final Art Project - Re-create a work of art based on the Artist's style or you can create a parody of the work
  • Week 17- Final Art Project - Continue working on the work of art / critique (chance to change anything if needed)
  • Week 18- Final Art Project - Present your information and your work of art
