Pennsylvania's Department of Education (PDE) has a wealth of resources available on their website to help students prepare for the PSSA's. Parents should spend some time learning about the PSSA's and how to help their student become good test takers.

            In addition to this, the English Department at DCTS spends a significant amount of time helping students prepare for the PSSA's . While the primary focus at our school will always be to help our students achieve success in the classroom as well as in their future careers, we can not ignore the importance of the PSSA's.  Regardless of anyone's personal feelings towards the PSSA's, they remain an integral part of the learning process as they help us as educators assess student's strengths and weaknesses in the classroom and design instruction that better meets their needs on a more individual level.
