Math with Mr. Pilarski
The goal of watching the video lesson is come to class with some understanding of the material presented. Here is an outline of my expectations for successfully watching and learning from the video lessons.
A. To be prepared to watch the video, you should have
1. A pencil
2. Your guided note packet
3. Access to the Internet
4. A place where you will be able to focus
B. As you watch the video and complete the guided notes, to be successful you should be engaged by
1. Listening to what is said
2. Pausing to copy the notes after the example is worked out
3. Rewinding as needed
4. Copying the notes onto your guided note packet
C. After watching the video I expect you to
1. Complete any example not done in the video before the start of the next class
2. Bring the completed guided note packet to the next class period
To get the most out of the flipped classroom, you have to make a commitment to do your best in learning the lesson before the next class starts.
