Instructional Support Facilitator – 2008 – present

Lead the Response to Instruction and Intervention (RtII) Team at the Middle School.  Provide support to students, parents, and teachers by helping to identify academic, social, and emotional issues, set goals, implement strategies and coordinate services in order to increase student achievement. Collect, analyze, and disseminate data, facilitate data team meetings, and provide professional development for faculty.

 Academic Jump Start Coordinator – 2008 - present

Supervised 31 staff members and 180 students during a summer program where children are recommended to participate by teachers based on data collected throughout the school year.  Small group instruction is given in the areas of reading and mathematics and is designed to improve literacy and mathematic skills prior to the start of the new school year.

Learning Support Teacher – 2007/2008 school year

Taught 6th grade learning support in a self contained classroom.  Implemented  corrective reading and mathematics programs as well as provided support on an itinerant level.

Extended School Year (ESY) Teacher – Summers 2004 - 2008

Taught elementary and secondary learning support students in reading, writing, and mathematics in accordance to students’ individualized education plans.

Emotional Support Special Education Teacher – 1998 – 2001

Taught emotional support special education 9th – 12th grade. Created and supervised a behavior remediation program in a self contained environment.  Taught 9th – 12th grade self-contained courses in language arts, mathematics, science, history, health, study skills and social skills.
