**1st Project: 6th Grade ONLY 

Check out this website from the PA Game Comission that has all the info about the contest.

Suggested steps for completing project:

1. Select an animal from this list of endangered or threatened animals of PA.
    
2. Learn about your selected animal:
• What does it look like? Gather images to use for reference.
• Find out about its' habitat.
• Remember the artwork is supposed to be realistic looking.
   
3. Start sketching--> Paper must be 9x12" and horizontal in orientation.
• Watch this video for help on drawing basic shapes of your animal.
   
4. Choose a medium for your artwork. You can choose from the following:
• Pastels (oil or regular)
• Colored Pencils
• Watercolors
• Or a cominbation of these
   
5. Complete artwork and turn in to Miss Brown by February 3.
